SOLVED error - hierarchical materials - example load on dx30 Pumps for G8F fit to G9

Greetings.  I am getting hierarchical material load errors on more than one product.  Using the 4.21.05 version of Daz Studio.  Most recent example is Pumps 4 for G8F fit to G9 by dx30.  Is this a problem with the product or a more general problem with hierarchical poses?  I don't know that I have other such products to test.  I suspect I do, but how does one search by 'contains hieraarchical poses'?

    It's a problem with the poses...they'll only work on the figure they were created on. You need to fit to G8, then apply the material, then fit back to G9. Yes, it is a pain in the butt ;). I do see the advantage in them tho. LOL

    You're welcome :). And save yourself some trouble for next time and don't forget to save out a material preset that doesn't rely on the figure number to work. LOL 

    H. material presets have their uses. It's the only way to apply materials to ALL parts of the outfit in one click. Otherwise, you need to apply the textures to each clothing item individually.
