Getting Plug Ins to Work in Previous Daz Version

After updating daz a while ago it would not run on my computer because the open gl requirements for it changed. I did put daz 4.16 manually back on my computer, but my plug ins don't work when they did before the update to the daz version I couldn't use. Is there a way to get them working again on daz 4.16? Keymate, Graphmate, and Gen X2 are ones I really miss.

Did you try re-installing them? They are not tied to the Studio version like some (i.e., Measure Metrics, Decimator, GoZ, etc.)

I tried reinstalling the plugins with Install Manager. Since I reinstalled the old Daz version in a nonstandard way without Install Manager (since it would only install the newest version) plugins were not going to the correct area. After checking where the correct directory was I was able to paste the dlls there and it works now. Thanks for responding, and giving me a lead!

You can re-install a previous version of Studio from DIM if you are off-line and have the older DIM package in the download folder, or with the standalone exe package. Uninstall the new version that doesn't work, then install the older one. It's a well-known unofficial hack to go back to previous versions, but only if you keep a copy before installing a new one.

DIM only has Daz 4.21 showing in Ready to Download.

If you are seeing "Ready to Download", you are on-line. Keep DIM off-line, and you should see the 4.16 files in "Ready to Install" (assuming you have the DIM-formatted zip files in your download folder).

What I alway do is, when daz is installed, move the installed copy elsewhere and update my shortcuts.

DIM installs the program into the DAZ folder. When it does I make a folder with the version number ouside that folder and copy the installed ones to it and update the shortcuts. This copies all the plugins too so I don't have to move those around manually.

In each of my folders is both the release version and the beta or several betas. Of course this has to be done before updating. On my external I have even older versions just in case.
