According to this - https://posercontent.com/plants-for-poser-and-daz-studio/curious-proliferation - It was made was Daz Studio 3 was around. So it should work in Daz Studio 4.
You shouldn't have needed to repurchase, it would still have been in your order history if you had purchased here. It should still work, but I don't believe it has been updated to have Iray materials so you may want to do some adjustments.
I bought it in 2010. They told this was my first product on Renderosity
