Is this a Bug in Genesis 9?

1. Load Genesis 9. 

2. Select "left Forearm" , "Twist " to 80 degrees.

3.Press "Shift + B" - Bake Joint Rotations. 

4. "Twist" became 0. 

Is the "Twist" a "Pose Control"??? I think, it was not supposed to be.  like when in Genesis 8, it did not work like this. only for "grasp// fist" of hands etc. 

so is it  a bug or I'm confused? 

Pls somebody help. thanks a lot.

    Yes - the forearms consist of 2 twist bones controlled by the main bone - see image. You need to adjust the twist bones.

    Sorry i'm still confused, what I mean is , after I do "bake to transforms" the forearm should stay in position but not turn back to the previous position with "twist" back to 0. 

  • My limited understanding of this would be that no, that's not a bug. It is something done before doing something else which requires the pose to be what you want but that other process would return the pose to 0. So baking makes the new position '0' so everybody is happy.
