.duf.png icon size

Is there a way to save scenes with larger icons? I mean the default "scene.duf.png" icon that is created when a scene is saved.

My eyes are already poor with age and even with glasses I find it difficult to tell what's in a scene by looking at the icon. OK, I could render out larger icons and replace the automatically created ones (as I often do with things like clothing in my Content Library) but it would be helpful if we could automatically save with a larger icon.

Perhaps I could explain a little better. The larger (rendered) icons I create for clothing, etc., are more visible (larger) when I hover over them in the DAZ Studio Content Library.

That is a rendered .tip icon. You render the size you want and change it to a .duf.tip.png extension

I think you misread my post. I'm not talking about the .tip icon - I know what that is and it is created by the artist who created the product. I'm talking about saving scenes (or anything) and automatically creating a larger icon. I can do that by rendering one myself but I'm really asking if there is a way to change the default icon size that is automatically created when a .duf file is saved.

AFAIK there's no way to change that.

Yeah, I thought so too but thought I might as well ask. There are plenty of things I don't know and only find out by reading the forum.

For scene subsets I render a 384x384 PNG and replace the duf.png file with that. Plus it actually looks like what I setup. I'd like something larger than Studio's tiny duf.png files, but we gets what we gets.

Yes me too, except that I render a 1200 x 1200 png just because that's the render size of my default scene. It looks better and when I hover over it I can see it large (although not at 1200 x 1200).

I think there used to be a 91x91 restriction so they couldn't use larger png files but that restriction disappeared long ago as I have been using larger png icons for years.

Doesn't matter how large you make the thumbnails, as the Content Library pane will scale them down to 91 x 91 to display them.

As I said in my OP ... the difference is seen when I hover over the icon with my cursor. The restriction to 91 x 91 has been removed and larger images are now possible to view. I am talking about icons in the Content Library. I can render these larger images myself when I save .duf files but I was asking if there is a way to change the size of the automatically generated icon.

Because the hover view is temporary and only visible when the cursor is over the icon, it is not possible to take a screen shot otherwise I would post one to show the doubters what I mean.
