UV View Export or Snap Image in DS ?

DS Viewport can display the UV view of a select item (part of item) if you choose so in viewport.

Maybe this has been answered or discussed before: is there a way to export this uv-view as an image or a least to take some kind of snap shot of this view in DS (other than doing a screen print under windows and cut the desired part out in a graphic program....)
The alternative is export to hexagon, change to uv view and get a snap shot there. But this is very unsatisfactory because of the very limited size and the resulting low resolution of the stored image.

Thanks in advance

    I am not aware of any good way to get the UV layout out of Daz Studio.

    When I want a UV layout I export as an Obj, and then load it in blender and export the UV layout in the wanted resolution.

    I haven't used Hegagon, but I would assume you could do something similar there

    As getting the uv template from Hexagon is also just a screenshot, might as well stick with D/S for screenshots.

    Use of another uv utility is recommended though so size, borders, etc. can be adjusted.

    Any 3D modeller [Blender, 3DCoat, Zbrush, etc.] can export out uvmaps too.

    ............................

    Another option using D/S if you would like the "buffer zones" included, would be to collapse the uvset, put lights to all 6 sides, perspective view, 3D render, each time used set the location to a folder on the desktop [defaults into the program folder which is a no-go], .png files, as large as you want, Shader Baker!!! [on the Surface Tab, desired zones selected] {this method will not give one the wirenet unless a wirenet texture was appied}

    Thanks for your quick answers.

    I see that I will have to look at another 3d modeller or the mentioned plug in.
    As I suspected there seems to be no direct action within DS.
    Your posts are very helpful so that I now know where to look to solve that problem.
