Why am I getting white dots on my darker clothing? An how do I get it to stop?

Have you turned on 'Firefly Filter Enable' under 'Render Settings'-->'Filtering'?
Try it and see if that solves your issue.
Possibly too much Gloss on the fabric surface and too strong a light.
- You have to render longer and possibly increase max sample and/or quality under Render Settings -> Progressive Rendering
- Set your scene up to be easier on IRAY - open spaces instead of closed rooms, a lot of overall light but not too much light focused on just one spot, etc
To be fair it doesn't look like this is the issue with your example, as far as I can tell.
- You can get rid of fireflies in post, using Noise Reduction filters of GIMP or Photoshop. This kind of thing tends to make the image blurry so I'd recommend applying it only to the parts of the image where it's needed.
Good luck!
I had the same problem some time back and the advice to me was longer render time and it worked.
I have the max set to two hours, 95% and 5000 iterations. It reach the 95& limit after several minutes. Do I need to go higher?
Thank you. I'll give that a try.
I don't have any lights set. I'm going with the defaults.
If you have Render Quality Enable on then Max Samples/Max Times do not engage. If I use Render Quality I set Rendering Quality from 3-5 and Rendering Converged Ratio to 99%. Most of the time I turn that off and use Max Samples and Max Time, the render will stop at which ever one comes first. Most of the time 5000 samples will be good but bigger scenes or lower light requires higher settings. I have my max time set at 5 hours because I prefer to go off the samples settings.
