Will "Portrait Poses for G9F" work on G8F?

https://www.daz3d.com/portrait-poses-for-genesis-9-female

These poses are beautiful.

Sorry to ask a question that has probably been asked already, but will the G9 poses work on G8?

I do not own G8.1 figures, just G8. The G8.1 poses work on G8, just not the expressions.

So I was just curious if G9 will work on G8 or if it is a similar situation to G8.1?

No. Not yet. You need a pose converter/transfer script because the bones don't have the same names. I have plans to do one, but life is interfering at the moment and I haven't seen any others yet. Regards, Richard.

Thanks for the info. I will keep an eye out for a converter. :)

DAZland should force you to do it by paying you money for it... a G9->G8 converter script would probably the only thing that might make some people buy any of the upcoming G9 pose products. wink

  • Whether anyone offers me money or not, at the moment I have so much to do I simply cannot cope with anything else to do. It is on my list, but I'm finding 24 hours in a day isn't enough. Regards, Richard.

BTW I appreciate the G8 to G9 pose converter, thanks!
