Ok...
So Daz now has a singular mesh that you can make into a female or male... great.
I like to "arrange" my own user facing files in a manner that makes sense to me (Standing/Sitting/Leaning/Jumping etc)
So, I am curious about some of the pose sets I've got for G9. When I look at their file structure, I am seeing "Base" , "Base Feminine" and "Base Masculine"
I am assuming that if I load daz 9, turn on the Feminine Morphs to make it a "Biological Female", then want to pose with a purchased posepack, I go to "Base Feminine" and click... right?
I am assuming that if I load daz 9, turn on the Masculine Morphs to make it a "Biological Male", then want to pose with a purchased posepack, I go to "Base Masculine" and click... right?
so... uhm... are the "Base" (with no adjective following) poses for when you use the Base Mesh... neither Feminine or Masculine... ? or will it work on both? Or is "Base" for all the androgynous characters that will be hitting the store
I am a bit confused.

Basically yes.
All poses will work on whatever shape you use, but Base Feminine poses are optimized for the Feminine shape / female characters, so they will look better. Base poses are optimized for the pure base shape. It gives you poses without any shape influence.
Similar to pose sets that included Genesis 8 and Michael 8 poses for instance.
