I have been trying to apply some male genitalia to my character and each time is shows up as a shiny metallic object. How do I change to a skin tone?

So you are loading the anatomical elements, then applying the materials - either H Materials with figure or any fitted/parented item selected or regular Materials for the Anatomical Elements with the Anatomical Elements selected?
I recently downloaded Michael 8 Pro Bundle because I needed to add male genitalia to my figures. My question is: When I attact the genitalia it appears metallic. How do I get it to look flesh coloured? I am at my wits end trying to figure this out. Any help would be appreciated.
Sorry Richard I am very new to this and I am not sure what you are referring to here.
(merged threads covering similar topic)
Load the figure, load the antomical elements, apply the Michael 8 All maps preset (Materials>Iray>Skin in a category view, People/Genesis 8 Male/Characters/Michael 8/Materials/Iray/ in the Content Library under Daz Studio Formats in the content diectory you installed to)
Still the same Richard
Maybe try to select the genitals in the scene tab, and then select it in the surface tab, and then apply Daz Iray PBRSkin Iray Uber (for Genesis 8) before applying the materials.
Or check if there is a dedicated genitalia material.
I just double checked - load Gensis 8 male, load Gensis 8 Male Genitalia, apply Michael 8 All maps - all turns to the correct skin (and renders correctly).
Thank you Richard its all sorted now. Many thanks for your help
