Genesis 9 disappearing eyes after render

I have a custom character that I set up for Genesis 9. Because of the limitations of my laptop I usually render in 3Delight. All seemed to go well after I did the render and then I noticed that Genesis 9 doesn't have any eyes in the render. They were there when I set up the file. They appear when I do a filament render. The only thing I did was swap out the base texture for one of my own and I reduced the eye moisture opacity to zero. Genesis 9 looks like he was born without eyes (just think the Companion from the Sandman series on Netflix). Is there something I'm missing? I didn't have this issue with Genesis 8.

I'm not sure how it's done, but I think G9's eye moisture and sclera are one group. If you reduce the eye moisture opacity to zero, the rest of the eye goes with it. Not sure how it's being accomplished, because I haven't figured out all the "eccentricities" of G9 yet. LOL
But wouldn't the other eye material (sclera) disappear as well in the viewport before rendering? That is so weird to be set up like that.
It's some kind of new sorcery and I haven't figured how it's being done yet. LOL Plus I'm not entirely sure that's your issue ;)
Wouldn't surprise me if it was. The eyes and mouth have been a real pain to work with for this figure. They don't respond like other conforming figures and move with the morphed mesh. You have to adjust them by hand and then set up control properties so that they morph when you dial up your character. There's probably a shortcut/easier way, but I haven't figured it out yet.
I think I've finally figured it out. It was the shader that was causing the problem. I think it's a PBR/iray set-up. I tried switching it over to 3Delight with a script I have. It wouldn't switch. I finally had to go into the presets on the Surface tab and select the dzSkin one and applied it and then it allowed me to do 3Delight setup. After I did that it rendered. Weird.
