I hope it is ok to post a Black Friday deal here:

Corel Painter 2022 (last year version) is on humblebundle.com again.

Price is € 34.98 including extra brush packs. It is a full version that can be upgraded to the latest version.

Humblebundle is a charity sale site - so, if you like you can pay more.

As a comparison - the official 2023 version from Corel is regular € 424.95 and Black Friday € 294.95)

Nice. I had it on my old computer, that has crashed.

Just wonder, if they still install their marketing software with it.

I was literally spammed with their offers directly in Windows pretty often.

@Artini, yeah, spams away at the worse times. One of the reasons I am not picking any updates this year.

Someone posted how to get rid of it years ago, but I never wrote down how, but it worked. If anyone knows how to do it now in Win 10 or 11, please let everyone know.

  • I suspect you can block incoming from the website in your firewall settings like I had to for a different app

I bought it. There is a splash screen advertising the update to 2023. But that can be switched off.

How I stopped the notifications and offers from Corel products from popping up on my desktop:

Open the program, go to 'Help' > 'Message Settings (or Message Preferences depending on the software)' > it will say something along the lines of "receive offers in tray" click the dropdown box that says 'never show me offers in tray'... or something similar.

You have to do it for each Corel product you own. So if you buy the bundle you may have to do it a couple of times (once for each product), but it's pretty easy once you know where to go.

Depending on the product and the version you use the settings might be a little bit different, but I believe those are all the steps I took to make the pop ups stop popping laugh

Ok, thanks for the tips of disabling the popups.

Yes, thank you! I think the bundle has at least 5 - 7 products from Corel. A nightmare on two computers, and multiple year versions.

  • Nice bundle. Thanks for the heads up.
