Will DAZ Studio work on a Mac M1 running OS Monterey?  I'd hate to buy a new computer that wont work with DAZ.

  • I've just installed DAZ on M1Pro (Monterey) and it's running with no problems. However rendering is challenging and for the first time since I bought the laptop, I was able to hear the fan once I've opened DAZ.

So for general work I guess it's ok but I wouldn't render on Mac. Bear in mind that this is on M1Pro with 10 cores and 16GB RAM, I'm not sure how it will perform on base M1 but the software will definitely work and allow general work in my opinion.

Thank you for your reply.  I bought the Mac and haven't installed anything yet, I'm too nervous at this point.  I still have my old Mac, which DAZ runs on OK, so I guess I can just continue to use that.
