Cascadeur looks amazing!

Have you guys seen this yet?

Apparently the base version is free to use, so I'm definitely gonna pick this up when I have time in the new year buuuut...

Has anyone else used this with DAZ Studio yet?

All of these animations were made in Cascadeur, albeit rendered in C4D. I highly recommend it as an animation tool, but I've actually found it kind of tough getting the animations into DS. Then again, I've never spent any significant amount of time trying to animate in DS, so maybe more experienced DS animators can figure things out that I can't.

Daz did some videos a while ago, personally not had a look yet.

  • Watched the vids. What is the chief advantage of Cascadeur? Is it just better IK / motion physics? This seemed like a lot of effort to do something that's already kind of available in Daz Studio. Unless I'm missing something.
