That time of year is once again upon us :-)
I haven't noticed yet a thread started so here goes:
Pond5 has a big page full of goodies for the season: Film clips, sound clips, stills, etc. 132 items available for free download until Dec 31.
n.b. yes you need to have an account [free] and use proper names and email addresses, this is a big business website ;-)

Adventskalender 2022 von pinkrose (German, 2D)
LoL, You all beat me to it, as I usually start the thread at around midnight European time....... when the advent calendars start becoming active .......
(Now thinking about what's best, start my own thread as usual, or stick with this one..... :) )
Don't start a second thread. The moderators will probably just merge them.
Apologies glaseye, some sites have started early this year. Feel free to 'take over' with the advent calendars, etc.
Thank you Kerya!
Yes the 1st Holiday Gift is by AprilYSH [thank you] and it's https://www.daz3d.com/renfaire-tiaras :-)
For those new to this hobby, the December gifts from the PAs are often available for a limited time. Once "purchased" they will be available in your Product Library indefinitely even if/when they are no longer available in the store.
What are the "rules" for this thread? Is this where we post our Thank You renders of the product gifts we receive? Or is this just an announcement only thread?
Oh I didn't make up any rules for this thread. Pretty tired of rules tbh. Renders welcome
Store page seems to have done a half jump possibly into tomorrow's sales. Time will tell - MAYBE the 2nd freebie is a Normal Maker, page is OOPS atm. {and another sales category appeared which isn't working at all - so maybe that was meant for tomorrow as well}
No apologies needed, anyone can and may start a thread about this...... and since this thread already exists and is pinned as an announcement, this is probably the best place to post...
SOFTWARE:
https://www.chip.de/events/adventskalender - (Chip, German)
https://www.heise.de/download/blog/Der-Heise-Adventskalender-2022-7315794 - (Heise, German)
https://www.pcwelt.de/xmas - (PC-Welt, German)
3D & 2D:
- https://www.3d-board.de/wcf/advent-calendar/ - Active Rendering (German, Registration required)
Remember some of the offerings may only be available for 24 hours - and end according to the time-zone the site is in that is offering them. (This is especially true for the software offerings. The software offered may also need to be registered the same day it is offered...)
Thank you, @AprilYSH!
Nice render barbult and thanks AprilYSH. I just notice wen I filter by contex it no show in my assesories, againg thanks for this nice tiara.
Thanks for the compliment, riuken1. The tiaras are properly categorized, but they do not have any character compatibility set, so they never show up when filter by context is checked. You could submit a help request to ask Daz to update the metadata, or you could just set it yourself with the Content DB Editor in the Content Library pane. As far as I can tell, it is a prop parented to the character's head. It is not rigged to any particular character shape. I think you could parent it to any character and adjust the size to fit in the Parameters pane. Maybe that is why there is no particular character compatibility set in the Metadata.
Thank you!

(Your link ended up with some %C2%A0 at the end ...)
And the next PA is Code 66 with: Santa'S Normal Maker
Thank you.
Hmm, one needs to use DIM or DCentrale to install either of the required {free} bridges. Have no idea why the product claims to require a skeleton lol ...
Yes. The checkout page states that Skeleton is required. It isn't.
Ouch... corrected.... (I hope )
Does anyone have a link for the Renderosity givaway? I thought that they normally started Dec 1 every year, but maybe I was wrong?
probably cannot post them here
Have they started and I just don't see them on the website?
I haven't noticed the Renderosity Giveaways yet ... when one lands on their website one is greeted with a sign-up for newsletters dialog.
Haven't seen anything in the news letter about one as of yet
Ok, thanks, maybe they are just running late this year. I hope that they do one, I've gotten a lot of really cool stuff from it before!
All I've seen is the holiday sale, and that may be ending tonight.
Dana
Correction: it ended on Thursday!
Dana
At DAZ Studio forum on Rendo, there is a thread for it, but the link leads to 404
Who's Thursday?
For me, it has been Friday for 8 and a half hours already, but it's still Thursday at DAZ HQ.
Is cool that can be use with diferents shapes, I was thinking was just for G9, Maybe I do it my self as a practice in daz.
Renderosity's Thursday.

Number 3 is a Digital Xmas Viewer by Silent Winter [thank you]
https://www.daz3d.com/digital-xmas-viewer
btw - there is also a thread pinned over in the Commons for seasonal goodies :-)
It's not the first time Renderosity starts a bit later ... I think in 2020 it took them some days. As they had a habit of doing weeks instead of days, that worked fine too.
(Gifts are always working fine for me )
about https://www.pcwelt.de/xmas ... am i stupid or what? when i go to the page, i see "PC-WELT Xmas-Calendar 2022: Every Day a new Full Version!" (in german) - but then nothing, no calendar, no full versions of anything, just an endless list of "best" products and stuff... nothing like chip.de or pretty much any xmas calendars i've ever seen, and i'm also pretty sure too that even thereon pcwelt, last year, there was a normal calendar with little windows or something
