Posing tools don't work

Ever since the last update, i am having problems with a couple of posing tools. First, Active Posing used to have a tab in one of the window panes, along with Parameters, Shaping, and so on. Now I can only get it under the tools menu but I can't pin any body parts. I can drag the hand, arm, and so on, but the rest of the body will move with it.


The other one is the V3Digitimes. It's in my top menu bar, but when i click on it, I get the poser mixer. When clicked, i get a small box for Lock and Unlock. But that's all. I can't get the menus for those two options.

Any ideas what's going on?

    Active Pose uses the Tool Settings pane for its options - are you sure you are not thinking of Power Pose, which is a pane 9and should still be in Window>Panes(Tabs))?

    V3Digitimes' what? That is the PA name, she has mutliple products.

    Thanks for rsponding, Richard. I do have Active Pose, but that's not I'm looking for. The one that's missing, whatever the name is, used to be a tab in the section bottom right that's in screenshot 24. You clicked on a section of your figure (chest, arm, leg) and you click on a pin option in the tab. An image of a pushpin appears in that body part. Click it again and the pushpin disappears.|

    I do have the Ultimate Pose Mixer by V3Digitimes, so I guess the item in the menu shown with my cursor in Screenshot 24 is for it. But, as you can see, the options to Lock and Unlock will not go further. The boxes you see in Screenshots 22 & 23 don't appear at all on my computer. I have no idea how to get them.

    I think it is PowerPose you want, is it not listed in Window>Panes(Tabs), or if you right-click in a tab well (the darker grey area agaisnt which the panes' tabs appear) and select Add Pane (Tab)?

    Do you need to have a figure loaded and selected for teh sub-menus to appear in Ultimate Pose Mixer? I don't have the product to test.

    It's not PowerPose. That on pops up a screen with a body full of blue dots. You click on one a dot and move the body part associated to that dot with the mouse.

    The Ultimate Pose Mixer (VeDigitimes) only shows what's on the image, The figure is chosen, but i don't get anything else in V3Digitimes after "lock" or "unlock:. But what I do get the controls when I look for the Ultimate pose Mixer under 'Utilities', which is tricky to find. You can see the options I get in the box to the left.

    That certainly sounds like PowerPose

    Nope, that's not it. PowerPose don't pin items, instead you click onto one of the blue dots to move that part of the body. The Ultimate Pose Mixer is closer to it, but I can only freeze larger parts of the body. For instance, I can't freeze the position of the feet because it only has an option to freeze the whole leg. Since I can't find the item in my Daz program, and it's not listed on my purchase list, i bet it's one an it's something Daz removed from being used again. I suspect Daz doesn't that at times when something disappears or doesn't work anymore. I have clothing that doesn't work, for instance.

    Okay, I've found what disappeared. In the image below you can see little red pins on the figure. They pin those body parts so they won't move when you move the rest of the figure. The controls is under Tool Settings to the lower right, though you can barely read it. It it called "Active Pose". That option disappeared somehow. I just check my panes in the windows menu, but when I clicked on it, it appears as a small box in the middle of the screen. I just played with it a little and found the pinning options I wanted, but it's more difficult to work it that way. How do I get it to lock onto my screen like it is in the pic below?

    You see the tabs lined up on the left and right? When that small box is open, grab the tab (inside the pane, right on "Tool Settings") and drag it into position on the left or right. You can move it up and down in the pane if it doesn't land exactly where you want.

    That's the ticket. Thanks for the help. I now have it where I want want.
