Why do toon characters in DAZ all look Psycho?

Is it the blank lifeless stare of the eyes, or lack of human expression?

They look frightening!

    What you described just sounds like users don't take the time to carefully pose characters. Subtle tweaks always make a huge difference (in all different sorts of artwork, not just in DAZ.)

    All daz characters look a bit blank without some tweaking of facial expressions, especially with the eyes. This makes sense, actually. Gotta take the time to add character to your characters. cool

    Posing the shoulders right gives an impression of gravity. This is essential for realistic poses.
