Hi,
While I think Poser's UI is abysmal in so many ways I do LOVE the Camera dots. I think they are SO useful. Rather than filling up the Scene tab with a multitude of created Cameras why not have a system like this so the Scene tab can just display things like the actual figures and props? This sort of addon would be good for lights as well. These could be saved for just the scene file your working on, exported to share or have it saved as a default for the next scene that's started.

You could save presets, or a little script could save/restore to a standard preset (1 to 9 or whatever) replacing the ones that were there - in fact if you had nine scripts (for saving to presets 1-9), perhaps loading instead if a modifier was held, they could be put on a toolbar that would be like the dots panel in Poser.
Yea, anything that would be a simple click to save, Alt click to unsave and click to save the newly positioned camera or light! It would be such a time saver for many of us!
I never worked with Poser before so I can't really comment on that. However, I can definitely relate a bit to a load of camera settings in my scene ;)
You probably know this already but using groups can be very useful here. Just create a new group, drag all your camera entries in there and after that you can easily collapse the group and be done with it. This will also make it easier to apply the invisible and/or unselectable setting to all entries at once.
Worth putting in a feature request.
Hi Frank. Is there a link to that page? I went to the Help area but can't find the Feature Request link! Thanks so much!
First feature request should be... From everyone who finds the page...
"An easier way to find the feature requests page."
Yea, never heard from anyone about that hidden page! LOL Maybe DAZ doesn't want to have more features piled onto the user wishlist!
