ATTENTION FABER INC

Really like your new pose set for Genesis 9 "Walk this Way Poses for Genesis 9" but what I'm curious about is the lighting set you used.  This really looks like it's almost photorealistic to me.  Some lights are blown out a bit too much in so many renders but this looks nicely and naturally lit and I'd love to know if these are home grown or from a light set you can recommend.

Here is the product page for those curious.... https://www.daz3d.com/walk-this-way-poses-for-genesis-9

Thanks so much,

Looks like a Cake One set to me, most likely Click N' Render IBL Set. Setting 20 has the distinct red/blue side lights.

OK, thank you so much.  I have this set!  I'll have to give it a go.  Thanks again!

  • Acutally it might be the Cake One Click N Render Pastel one. Going by the purple highlights on the shoulders in his promo.

Don't have that one but the Spooky edition looks really cool

Thank you so much Richard! I hope you enjoy using them. Like the others mentioned, the lighting setup is from this https://www.daz3d.com/click-n-render-ibl-set

I just added a white rim light in the back to separate the chracters from the background

Thanks for popping in to confirm.  My only issue with this light set is that the "bars" seem to make their way into my render, which I don't want.  Is there a rotation that you would suggest to keep that out of the final render?  I tried a couple of rotations but ended up loosing the nice color reflections and rim effects.  So I gave up for now.

Yeah, actually the background in these promos is not taken from the hdri dome. I don't remember now but it was probably for the same reason you are pointing out.

Ah, OK.  I think I can use the lights without the HDR rendering visible.  Keep forgetting that!  LOL
