i just uninstalled it through IM and reinstalled but same result

Don't start a new thread. Post in the vendor's official commercial thread https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/557401/brightness-manager-commercial if you want his attention. You didn't give enough information for anyone to help you. In the other thread, tell what version of Daz Studio you are using. Tell what installation method you used to install the product. Tell what, if any error message pop-up you got and what errors are posted in the Daz Studio log file.
