Anything other than nose in eye reflections?

How do I accomplish this? :D

I've added UE2 with an hdr, i've toggled it to 'show in render' and it works for lights and i've set max raytrace distance to 5000 and shrank the size of the EU2 ( it is an apt room image )

Only thing that gets to show up in her eyeball is her nose!

Change the angle of your camera. At some angles, it will be mostly the nose showing up as an reflection, just like in real life.

  • It actually had nothing to do with that.

I had to select the EnvironmentSphere and turn raytracing 'on' in the surfaces tab, and make sure it was 'visible in render', it actually took a lot of finagling to get it right, but mission accomplished o.O

Yep...almost any other surface shader would have given reflections,  with just the 'Visible in render' being set to on.  The omnifreaker shader (omSimpleSurface) that is on the UberEnvironment EnvSphere has that raytrace on/off switch...with it 'off' you will NOT get any reflections from the EnvSphere.  It loads 'off' by default.
