Can we have Lilith 9 please?

I hope Lilith does not get abandoned. I hope we get Lilith 9 soon.

    I always wonder why names are so important for many customers here... would it make any difference when Lilith would be looking like a Lilith but be called Pamela?

    :) This. Lilith = voluptuous goth girl, and for G8/G9 they have vyktohria to surpass in that department.

    Ahh, but more importantly it needs someone called 'Lilith' to go headless first, only after Lilith looses her head can anyone else go headless.

    Jokes aside, the names represent what we can expect from that character, at least those that have been part of the Daz lineup since previous generations. You know what an Aiko or Eva character will be. IMHO, we never got a Lilith for G8, with the name or not. Closest thing we got was Tasha 8, but no, Lilith is not "the vamp goth girl". And, again imho, I believe it's simply because with each generation Daz seems to be trying to move away from what that character represented.

    Also, another character I wish we had gotten for G8 was some Anneka, and I really thought they would make it after I saw Tempest 8.1, but eh, never got it.

    Sort of? Victoria so far has been standard pageant/Bond girl with each generation, until 9 smashed the template. Josie got rebooted extra hard. Michael can be whatever he wants, because core male characters are so few that you could just say that he's "generic handsome mid-30s dude" and throw anyone in his place, so he wasn't a big change at all. I think, in the face of diversifying what Daz has to offer, if you get a Lilith, she's not what you're going to expect her to be.

    Lilith 7 very much was vamp goth girl, except more voluptuous than Tasha.

     

    Although Damien and Anneka could use an update, but I'm not holding my breath for this.

    This very much. Some people complein here about the "supermodel white girl" characters, but Lilith 6 and 7 were far more than that. The Liliths were very much designed to go beyond that, to the point of being supernatural. Think of Kelly LeBrock in Weird Science: not from this world and too good to be true. And it's a shame nothing even close appeared for G8. But, times are changing I guess, and companies are more reluctant to release such content these days. I do expect such characters will make a return some time, maybe not with G9, but probably by the time we get G10 or G11. Hollywood studios constraining themselves with political correctness already see their audiences dwindling, while lesser studios without such constraints find their small and relatively cheap productions gain more traction and income instead.

    I feel that way with EVERY named character since I never use a character out of the box and always create my own since there are millions of morphs just for this reason. Add to the mix so many different skins, makeup packs and clothiing options combined with an image editor, you can make whoever you want to look any way you want.

    Same here and, for the last few years, I mainly buy characters for their textures.

    Now and again I use a character fully, that I bought like Pixie, for example, but usually I spin the dials and make my own.

    Lilith 6 is great and L7 is a different person. I agree about characters and textures, modifications out of the box and all that. But some characters... I like them the way they are.

    Is it possible that the name 'Lilith' would trigger issues with PayPal and other payment systems and they have to stay away from it? So many other names seem to be sensitive now.

    Seems that I've been very lucky then to not use one of those "sensitive names" or it's once again a more regional thing happening (aka not here in Germany..) as up to now not a single transaction I made via PayPal was cancelled.

    I'd have likely been a Day-1 buyer for Lilith 8, if done right. But G9? Based on what's been released so far: Pass.

    If you missed her in the deluge of new products, the recent 8.1 character Vannyah might be of interest.

    And going back a bit, the G8 character Lillia.

    I am in Germany and I did have problems with the Turk's Cap Lilies ...
