How to get G9 eyes looking at the Camera ?

PetraPetra Posts: 1,154

There was a script, I think a free one, that when clicked made G8 look into the camera.

Sadly, it does not work on G9.

I wonder if any of you might know how to achieve that?

I've always just pointed both eyes to a camera using eye's "Point At" parameter setting.

    1. Select G9 Head
    2. Scene tab, select Left Eye, shift select Right Eye so both eyes are selected.
    3. Go to the Parameters tab, with both eyes selected, set "Point At" parameter to a camera.

If the eyes are not pointing to the camera after setting the "Point At" parameter, just nudge the camera and they should point at that camera.

Yay, it works like a charm.

Thank you so much for your help.

  • Just be aware you do have to nudge the camera on re-loading the scene with the point-at feature, but it's not too much of a problem. Regards, Richard.

and I hate it when people use that because most of the times one eye will look off. I see this too many times in the gallery and even promo images. Please stop doing that people!

    Never had that problem.

The trick is to select "All" after having selected both eyes, otherwise the "Point At" is only activated for one eye.

I tried it quite a few times and did not encounter the problem you are describing.

No. Select the eyes in the scene tab and then in Parameters tab, select "All", which is above "Favorites" and "Currently used"

Look At Me II Pose Control | Daz 3D

    This was updated for G9.

Look at camera and Look at each other are the two functions I use the most.
