This makes absolutely NO sense what so ever!

Studio says the .duf isn't present

THERE IT IS STUDIO! SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!

    Did you by any chance install any free figures from Renderosity lately?

    I came across this before and it was caused by a 3rd party product. In specific: the product installed a 2nd 'duf file' in a completely ridiculous location. But because of that it set off Daz Studio which then couldn't find the real file.

    Wish could be of help
    but it does not seem to be a Mac issue.

    Get out of Smart Content and open Content Library pane.  Can you find the products under DAZ Studio formats?
