Kind of miffed at this. The splash page for today's deals indicates that we can get $10 of DAZ items free. As can be seen in the attached screenshot, nowhere does it state that it is $10 LESS the punch card discount. No matter how many or how few items I put in my cart, the discount remains at $10 less the punch card discount.

I thought it was a welcome gift. Together with the 58% discount I got a nice $26 product for $0.81. Thank You DAZ.
...I thought it was a bit squirrelly as well until I investigated further and figured it out that yes the Punch Discount is being applied, but "Daz Sales Math" was used to calculate it.

On the plus side, there's another coupon today (same sales math so add it up before adding to cart to get the amount the coupon will take off).

But alas, will not Rain Check, but only fix the issue after the fact refunding people who bit the bullet and spent money anyway.
oh I must mention before adding to cart it was $13.77 so the $10 includes the 10% but not the 35% hence costing $2.45
I guess I could have gotten something less than $10 without discount free
Funny thing is, yesterday's coupon seemed to give me the full $10 off, but today's is only giving me the $6.50 off. Not really a big deal but still ... just ... not ... right.

I didn't want to risk waiting and loosing the coupon so I just kept trying products until I found one that got the whole $10 discounted because it's normal discount already made it less than $10 (The leprechaun haberdashery worked in that case for me).
I just spent an hour of my life I will never get back trying to trick Daz into give me the 10 dollars they promised me, someone said if the item costs less than 10 d it works so I carfully chose 4 items at, for my 35% of discount, 2.72 per stuff, 10.88, thought that at once I see this works I will write about it here so tell you all how you beat this, but no.....I was told to pay 4 dollars something. Yesterday I got 6.5 dollars instead of 10, now, w this I got 6.52 dollars. Dumped the cart and will see for some other full outfit. Yesterday I had to pay 0.87 cent, this time stealing method would have me pay 4 dollars. Nope! Thanks a lot Daz. If I am promised a 10 dollar gift that's exactly what I expect to get. I'm punished for being loyal for most of this sale and spending money here ever day. If I had not been loyal I would get a bigger gift. The message here speaks volume: DON'T BE LOYAL! Thanks Daz for letting me know, message got through loud and clear. Will go back to my rule: only spend the bare minimum here.
It seems to be applying the correct discount now (at least for me). My order went from $4.94 to $1.44 (which I was expecting in the first place hehe).
...as I mentioned above, after running several different formulas through, I discovered that Daz was applying the Loyalty Discount after the Coupon value was deducted so the discount only reduced the remainder left over when the 10$ was used. so if you had an item for 14.97$ in the and had the 35% punch discount, you still paid 3.23$
Apparently today they "fixed" the order of deductions so now the Loyalty Discount is applied before the coupon is deducted and thus. I ran several more tests and anything that comes to under 10$ (like that that same 14.97$ item which [with the 35% discount]) has a final price of0.00$.("free") which wasn't the case Saturday and Sunday I hope Daz kept good records of this or CS will be inundates with support tickets that will take them until March Madness to sort out.
I'm usually at the front of the line to complain about complicated DAZ sales gimmicks but the coupon seems to have worked fine for me twice already. I've bought several items over two days in the DAZ Originals (58%) sale and applied the $10 coupon and so far I have chipped-in less than $3 cash. Maybe my eyes just glaze over at the mention of Punch Cards or trying to figure out DAZ arithmetic but I'm quite happy with my purchases.
Sadly, too late for me. I already made my purchase with the coupon.
I was upset by my previous tries to get the full 10 dollars so I waited until very late to try again so I managed to get the full 10 dollars. But the 1st gift only got me 6.5 dollars so I'm stll very dissapointed at Daz as it was my loyalty of spending every day here that made my gift smaller. They could have given us all a sorry 4 the troubble gift today and show us that they are sorry for this but no....I stopped the punch hunting madness yesterd, was a bliss to not spend hs on finding things I could afford each d that I will actaually use. My discount went fr 35 to 10 as before....Daz must be the most disfunctional store ever. Every sale has tons of buggs, it's like beyond ridiculous. So I'm back to my rule of only spending the bare minimun here. Thanks Daz 4 saving me money.
They put out a replacement coupon yesterday that worked correctly, eg. I bought the DAZ Crow this time.
