I really hope that next year we'll finally get a new cat. A cat 9 would be the best thing in a looong loong time IMO.

    Maybe some brave PA will go all out and make a Base Cat 3 "Manimal" from the Genesis 9 Base.  That is one possibility as to the reason the Genesis 9 Base was modeled the way it was I read in the forums.

    She's also got Mars, which appears to be the same cat but with a different color fur. So if you buy one, AFAICT you don't need the other.

    I know linking to other commercial sites isn't allowed, but I didn't know we couldn't even refer to their names.  Nicknames seem ok though, right?  I've seen 'Rendo' and 'Rotica' used before.  Not sure what the nickname for this one might be, maybe 'Hub of Renders'?  :)

    When I was a wee tiny Posette/Dazzie twenty-something years ago, we used to nickname it 'Rosity' instead of 'Rendo' ... wonder what it will be ten years on. 'Ah, tempus fugit ... Back on topic, those days, we basically had the same cat already, and I can use the poses from back then on the current DAZ cat. While I do appreciate continuity - that really IS weird ...

    Yes, I also remember AM promising (well, sort of) us a cat, and what's more, a proper, non-toony rabbit / hare. He even said that the rabbit was basically done, and he still didn't hand it out, sigh. I've given up on it basically, and on the AM cat too I guess. He's just more into wild animals it seems.

    I think extrenal links are allowed in threads if the OP or someone specifically asks for them, as opposed to just promoting a product from a competative site. That's my experience anyway.

    AFAIK (and I might be wrong) mentioning the names of any other sited isn't prohibited. It's even possible to give product links IF SOMEONE ASKS FOR THEM. Giving such details without asking for them would considered "advertising" though, and therefor be get censored. As these rules are used with some liberty by the censors, people usually don't bother to try to find out what they are allowed to do and what not, and just don't give any details... or names... or anything.

    A user at Rendo helped me resolve these issues. I'll just paste the instructions I was given:

    "The female morph for it (Zeus) can be made to work if one edits the morph file replacing all calls for the Mars cat with references to the Zeus cat {if one has purchased the S.C. for Zeus}. Also change the locations calls inside the file so it can find itself"

    As I wrote, that was just my speculation. Maybe she may have other considerations that have pulled her away from managing her products. Who knows. I agree she needs to get her business back in order and fix what's broke, but you just never know why someone is not responding. Let's hope it is just laziness, or distraction, and not something darker.

    Sure, I sent her a message on RH first thing. And she seems to be acztive, she has new products released today.
