Choose Your Free Gift Not Free

I put an item in the Choose Your Free Gift page into my cart. It comes to $9.44. When I applied the GIFTED code, it wants me to pay $.44. It's supposed to be $10 free. Well, $9.44 isn't $10. It's less than $10, but it still wants me to pay 44 cents, giving me only $9 for free. Has anyone else had this problem? I won't check out with it unless I know if others have seen this little glitch. I know, 44 cents isn't a big deal, but it's the principle of it. I'm supposed to get $10 of products free. Something is wrong with this.

    I live in Oregon. We don't have sales tax here.

    I'm having the same problem with that sale.  I put something in my cart that came out $6.82 and when I added the code, it is charging me 32 cents. That was way under $10.

    The punch card discount is being taken off the 'gift.'  So 35% punch card discount = $6.50 voucher. 20% discount = $8 voucher. I guess if you don't have any punch discount at all you'll be getting the full value of the code.
