dForce crashing display driver.

...I have been working with the General Release 4..21.0.5.  However I have bene running into issues at time where a dForce Sim it has crashed my display driver My GPU i s a Titan-X (Maxwell) with 12GB of VRAM, running on Windows7 Pro  I am using Nvidia driver 474.06 which is the final driver release that supports Windows 7 (4.21.0.5 still specifies driver 471,41 for Iray Rendering). I am also running dual displays with the viewport on one and tabs on the other 

Since my system is "legacy" tech, I always have everything shut down (browser, other software, background processes, etc) during a work session so as to have as close to its full resources available for rendering and sims  This is somewhat frustrating as it requires a system reboot to restart the driver.  After restarting, I also sometimes find that my desktop icons are scrambled up as well (more frustration).

Any clue as to why this is happening?
