Starting over with a clean slate?

Is there an approved process for zeroing out your entire DAZ content set: deleting every single piece of installed content, however it was installed, and then zeroing out the CMS so it contains absolutely nothing at all?
My content directories are full of so much disorganized cruft that nuke-and-pave is really the only path forward for me, but I want to make sure that I clean out every vestige of the previous installs so that I'm not faced with dangling references, missing icons, and so on.

Delete the files and reset the database - the latter through the Content Library pane option menu (the lined/hamburger button in the top corner, or right-click the tab) Content DB Maintenance and check Reset Database
Thank you.
