Old .daz scene can't find empty morphs - how to locate or recreate? [SOLVED]
I'm trying to load an old .daz scene, probably saved out from Daz Studio 3.1 or earlier, from a PC long ago retired. I have a copy of most of the data, but apparently missed a few key files.
I'm working from a newer PC, with relatively fresh installs, including I think all the relevant assets. For simplicity, I'm working only with a very simple scene that was basically just Victoria 4.2, with a texture and some unmodified morphs injected, as that was my starter scene that most of the rest are based on.
It failed to load correctly when I attempted to load it into Daz Studio 4.21, so I installed Daz Studio 3.1 again to try my luck there. That also fails with similar errors. The key error messages seem to be related to some missing empty morph files, such as:
Unable to find file for storable: data/blMilWom_v4b_68498/hip/modifiers/morphs/EMPTY-HipsCrest_0.dsd'
I've done a ton of experimentation and scouring the internet for solutions, but nothing I've found yet seems to quite fix this. I've read that somehow you can use DS 3.1 to regenerate missing .dsd and other files for the data folder. Is that what I need to do here, and if so how?

Load the figure into an empty scene, with the morphs enabled but not injected, and then save the scene.
Ah, thank you! I kept doing it with the morphs injected, as I thought they must need to be there, just without being modified. I did still have some issues with it wanting some of the data in the 3_0 and some outside it, but I just ended up copying the contents of data\3_0\blMilWom_v4b_68498 to data\blMilWom_v4b_68498, and that finally got that working. Is there a better solution to that to avoid the duplication of that data?
That said, I'm still having a similar issue with the hair in this scene. It's using Lin V4 Hair, but despite also separately dropping that into a new scene and saving that, it's not generating the right data that I can tell. The new scene with just the hair loads fine, but the old scene with V4 and the Lin Hair is throwing these errors still:
I figured out that part, at least something that works. There was a Lin_V4.dso file where it was looking for a geomtery.dso file. I copied and renamed it from Lin_V4.dso to geometry.dso, and that seems to work. I don't know why it ended up being named something else, though.
I think, given the lack of the 3 folder in the path, that those must have been from DS 2 or earlier - that may also account for the name difference in the file itself.
