Search not working in content manager

Since installing 4.8 the search does not work for the content manager. If i'm looking for examples all files that have "v4" in thier file name the search returns no results and I know I have many files that have "v4" in its name and doing this has worked with previous versions of daz studio. Yes I have selected the drop down by the search to make sure the file icon is selected instead of that cylinder looking thing.
