Transfer utility, obj. clothing placed too high

I am struggling to get some clothing that I have created and saved as obj files but every time no mater what I try, when I use the transfer utility in Daz my clothing shoots up too high. Seems like the shoulder level of the clothing shoots to the top of the head level. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

Make sure you have no scaling on the figure you're building the clothing around.

  • So the figure has to be a base model like genesis before adding any morphs?

You can use Reverse Deformation to account for morphs, but not for scaling.

  • Oh ok, got it. Thanks a lot. I didn't realize that every character that I was using was indeed scaled. I knew it had to be something simple. Thank you!
