There are too many characters I want to look for. Do you have any search skills?

Recently, I met a very good game. I can see that it was made with daz, but I can only find a few characters. What method can I use to find more characters? I also hope that some friends who know these characters can tell me. Thank you very much.

Most times you see scenes made with DS "out in the wild", it's unlikely that the characters are stock store assets; more likely they are a mix of different shapes and skins - being able to do so is one of the main points of the Genesis formats - and so either extremely difficult or impossible to precisely identify without being given the exact recipe by the user.

(On the store though, it's more likely that characters in promo art may be specific ready-made characters).

While this is sometimes frustrating, I try to be philosophical about it; I already have access to more character shapes and skins than I could ever practically use, I don't need to exactly replicate every nice character I see others using.

  • The search feature for finding products is outdated, it reminds me of how things were back in 2005. Genesis 9 isn't even split into male and female characters, so it's going to take twice as long to find characters.  I'm hoping maybe a third party website could organize DAZ products better, and we could just use that website instead.

If you post screen shots of the game there are DAZ 3D human model collectors that can almost always tell you what DAZ 3D models were used in the images.

We must be looking at different threads since the majority of the ones i see are just guesses and comparing textures. Chances are the images the OP post are from a NSFW game and the lighting used in that game engibe would make it next to impossible to name a specific character (if a specific character was even used and not a custom chatacter)

Characters are in general the most difficult of all 3D objects to track down.  I usually don't care to bother unless it's very obvious who it is.

Revamping categories are happening as we speak but there are over 44k products in the store and they have to be done one by one, so it takes time.
