The latest flash sale is not showing discounts on many items in the store, but are discounted in the cart...
https://www.daz3d.com/great-artist-flash-items
The discounts are showing in the store for me and Stonemason products are in the current flash sale.
The Lightning Deals banner has been restored.
I'm glad you've been posting the page link. I couldn't find it and figured it was over. And today they FINALLY had one item I was interested in.
Well I am tapped out without a really good Gift Card sale.
Same here. We really need a good gift card sale. There hasn't been one in quite awhile.
I agree, we do really need one, my wishlist for my game needs finishing off, but I want to pretend to stick to my budget and atleast wait for a giftcard sale.
Me too. I am down to a few dollars of credit, so I am letting all these endless flash sales sail by.
I think my shopping patterns have bewildered Daz. I glance at the lightning deals and think, 'Really? They think I'm interested in buying that?'
..I feel the same.
ETA:
Hmm, I select Stonemason under "Artist" in the filter menu on the Blink Sale but also get some of RiverSoft Art's products as well. Something isn't working right.
nothing to buy today. Am I a sell out?
Well, there are gift cards on a long awaited sale. Although the terms are not really very good, something is better than nothing
Yeah... I had been waiting for one too, but 10% starting from $200, is above my reach as the prepaid cards I'm using are limited to 150EUR per card, which is $155 to $165, depending on the exchange rate at the moment one makes the purchase.
There's less and less older stuff that I need for art for the sort of stories I'm working on, and only occasional new stuff I want, so I find myself sitting on the sidelines more and more watching for days that have a combination of new stuff I can use and stackable discounts that make it worth acting on it.
Definitely not the GC sale I was hoping for. A 15% discount is not too bad, but min of 400 dollars! That is somewhat higher than the normal min to get the top discount.
Yeah, with three ‘Big City’ New Releases (and 8 tokens), one gets DO items in Urban Extravaganza down to 89% off... 21 non-bundles to choose from and only three that I would buy if there was enough to fill the cart up to $60.
"Get Your Nouns On" does give 90%+ off per item, but the buy-ins make the cart only 88% off and I already bought ones I liked yesterday
"Brushes, Lashes and Tears"... Nothing
"Sunday Night Fights"... Not into fighting or weapons and the discounts are not there...
Two tokens out of 16 expiring at the end of Friday, so I can sit on my store credit until end of Sunday when the rest will expire.
thing is, its pointless to buy 3 items that you don;t need or want to get a discount. I'm not into buying in much of anything to get a discount as the buy in over-rides the discounts most of the time, at least for me. Because I rarely buy anymore, or at low prices, my cart is probably averaging around $15 if I buy at all, tokens are not happening. If I spend 10 a day thats 300 a month and that is just not happening. My monthly buy was $60 until not long ago when it began going up, mainly from the price increases. The average of my last 100 purchases, I just figured them out, came to $8.59. This is from 5 August 2023 back to February 24 2023. Its 160 a month though, so I'm already way overspending. It has to stop. I've a;ready spent quite a bit more than I usually alot to DAZ.
It's not pointless, but one has to get steep enough discounts in return for the items one does like/need/want, but it does require buying bigger carts.
I'm aiming at 90% off or more for the whole cart with average $2 per item. If I can't get there, I just clear the cart unless it's close and there is something that I really really want.
If I do get there, the cart is usually from $50 upwards.
I'll just stay at $0 store credit, until a real gift card sale comes along. $400 for 15% is too much money for too little discount to entice me.
Same here, except that if there is something I want to buy while the gift cards are on sale then I will first get a gift card in the amount of the planned purchase and then use that to get the item.
I might be able to put something worthwhile together with the absurd "Noun" thing. We'll see. My oldest tokens don't expire until the end of Friday also.
Why would anyone even consider buying anything they didn't want, unless the total price was lower than the price of the stuff they did want without the extra item (which cxan happen with character bundles)? No one should buy something they don't want to get a discount less than the cost of the unwanted item, and no one at Daz thinks otherwise.
The SWEEP-SALE Flash Sale that states "Or Their Interactive Licenses" is not working properly at all.
I tried using the code to buy the Interactive License of products in the Flash Sale list I already owned. It just says coupon not valid...
It isn't working for me either, both interactive licenses for new purchases or for existing.
I don't buy much anymore mostly because I have so much that getting more the one item and anything to combine with it on one day are pretty impossible ... but I keep trying.
Today artist flash sale 50% off plus more for two items and more for three
And looks it includes Code 66 and I've been waiting to get tool box 3...
whoops even thought it's older than one of his items on sale... it's not on sale.
---
So the virgin cash card a friend sent me a couple months age.. remains untouched at $200
Is it burning a hole in my pocket... must be cause I keep checking in expecting something to change
And I remain completely unimressed with five pages of selections that last 2 of which are V3
If they don't think otherwise... then how about enough items in a sale to make it possible to find one or two items in order to send us into the sale stuff.
Because the buying stuff you don't want to get a discount is the automatic result of not having anything I want to buy to trigger the sale beyond the first item.
---
for example
Buy one item from the past five days to get a discount on other items offered as daily sales deals for that five day period.
So the sale always covers what 50 new items or so to pick a couple to build discount. When it's hard to find one item on a given day ... two or three are pretty much impossible.
---
I probably have about 700 items in the wish list ... but the vast majority are items that I would grab on daz plus for day deal.
I seem to rember when you got 15% or even 20% for $200 ....
Yes, that was once very common. In May I got 20% off $400, which should hold me for a while yet...
Yes, that was common. I'm waiting for at least 20%, for a reasonable cost, and no outlandish buy in requirement.
...I remember geting 20% for a 100$ card once.
