Camera Director - how's that working out for you :-)

I have not found any discussions concerning Camera Director ( https://www.daz3d.com/camera-director )
So my first question is did anyone buy it?
How is it working out for you?
What render engine is it using? Does it provide any performance benefit over just rendering a sequence of images and bring those into video editing software?
I understand it lets you prepare multiple cameras for render and send them to FFMPEG but I am not clear on the mechanics of the rendering.

This looks like it would be amazing, I didn't even notice it on the sales page. I usually playblast all my camera angles and do a pre-edit in premiere to see when I want the edits, but having something like this where it's a multicam view to dictate when the cuts should happen would work so much easier. I'm worried though as I don't see an option to export as a png sequence, just an mp4 or gif and I need pngs. If someone does pick this up, please let me know if you can in fact export a png sequence.
I don't think this is exports a sequence of images to FFMPEG. That is why I wonder how it renders. It seems to do some kind of conversion of each image to an intermediate file which is converted to MP4 or Animated GIF.
When did this get released? I check the store every night, and this is the first time I'm seeing this.
It was released on Christmas Day - maybe you were busy?
I guess today was an epiphany for you :-)

I beginning to think this did not sell many copies on launch day. Maybe DAZ shouyld do something to boost this product's visibility.
So I have been using this and once you set it up it's pretty useful.
My use case is that I do turn arounds for the postures that I create, which amounts to 8 images for the turn around. Now I do minimal setup to render 8 images with a click of the button. I have not used the gif or video function yet. My only beef so far is that it automatically switches the images to .jpg which if I can't get it to keep .png I might have to stop using it and find another alternative.
The initial setup can be a bit confusing but following either the youtube video or the pdf file helps a lot.
I just spotted this today. It looks like it could come in real handy. I watched the YT vid, it looks simple enough.
Everything CD does I could do manually in DAZ, although it would be time consuming and error prone. What with the price of eggs today, $20 is affordable.
I'm going to try it.
