DIM Download Issues

I open the DIM, log in and files for downloading show up. I check mark them for downloading only for them to immediately switch to 'Download failed'. I closed the DIM, re-logged in but end up with the same results. Two to three weeks ago, I had updated to win10 if that should make any difference, but I believe I have installed stuff after that.

Please help.

  • I don't know what else to say as that is exactly what is happening. I log in to the DIM, select the items to download for installing, then click Start queue and they immediately switch from downloading to download failed. I'm sorry. There is nothing else presenting itself to explain why they aren't downloading. I've tried 4 times with the same result, but 2 to 3 weeks ago after updating to win10, downloading and installing was working fine.

Yes, I only directed you to that thread to show that it's absolutely nothing that you are doing or have done. There's something wrong with the DAZ DIM download and product library servers. It's happening to everyone, it looks like. And unfortunately, unless DAZ tech support is monitoring the forum at this hour -- and since DAZ keeps normal US business hours and the main office has been closed for three hours now, that's somewhat unlikely -- there's nobody in the forum that can really help with this issue at the moment. All we can do is to wait for DAZ to get back into the office tomorrow, look at the sudden pile of hundreds of help requests and say, "Oh, dear," and then hopefully do something.

  • lol Sorry. I'm still getting used to the new layout of the forums and didn't realise the blue text was a link.

LOL gotta love time zones. Thank you vwrangler.

And no, that light isn't the train...it's the server melting down...

  • LOL My partner has a t-shirt that says 'the light at the end of the tunnel might be an oncoming train'. Either works here.
