random crashing

I build the building below in daz... using primitives ...
exporting as objects ... taking to Max --- converting to meshes -- etc.
that was in the (Deco work) scene.
then I exported the finished window. door column sections as scene subsets.
opened a new scene (deco drugs) and read them in one at a time and put them together in a building
added some bric-a-brac ... did some renders

then I saved just the building (not the lights etc) as a scene subset
opened a new scene and and daz crashed reading it in. fatal to desktop

then I took the two sign objects saved them separately and daz crashed reading them in
then I took the building (without the signs) and daz crashed (to desktop with the fatal error bit)

then I saved the different pieces of the building --- the door section the wall section, the column section as scene subsets again...
and read them in and daz crashed each time trying to read them in

then I created a cube... saved it as a scene subset

opened daz ... read it in ... it read, then I read in all the pieces that made daz crash and it didn't and then I read the complete building in again.... and it worked.

is this a common problem or unique ...

6 times ye shall crash and on the 7th daz will relax and work?

the bottom picture is the wall in the second scene file ... that it was read into as a scene subset, output as a scene subset and with the crash message from the new daz scene file that couldn't read it in....
until a few crashes later and then it said okay.

What are the tech guys at CS saying about it?
it hasn't reached the consistent status to make much of a report...
the reason I tried the different parts of the scene was to find something that was causing the crash...
so far it only does it with x,y, and z between the hours of 7 and 7:15 then it works perfectly well again?

I do know that 4.8 doesn't support some stuff that 4.6/4.7 did and will crash when I try to render some scenes I created back then... but I was able to isolate the items that caused it...
but this time ... it wouldn't and then it would.

What I've noticed is that DS doesn't always clear out the surface images properly if you play around with stuff. I haven't found out just when it keeps them, and when not, but I know that when it keeps them, it will crash after a while because it's out of memory.
I've got 24 gigs of ram --- and keep a window showing ram and cpu usage...
plus as buildings the whole scene is only about 3 or 4 gigs...

can't embed them in your signature?. I had a link in mine and it disappeared and I went to signatures and it said you can't embed videos so I assumed it was removing all links from the signatures.
Okay, it looks like FB took the links to cover albums away so my old link was no good.
Can't seem to link to the cover album but can to others.
Can't embed video, but you can embed hyperlinks in your signature, Mine below the image are all hyperlinks, including the image
I didn't have video ... just a link to my FB cover album...
cause life is too short, I have too much to render and no time to duplicate my FB albums in the Daz Gallery...
But the link disappeared ... I think because FB removed Cover Album links... but if you go to the other album the cover picture at the top of the page will open the cover album.
