Ok... question... why can't we use the monthly Daz+ coupon for Daz+ items?

Basically you can't use the DAZPLUS coupon on DAZ+ items because they are already so heavily discounted. You can, however, use the SAVESIX one on non-new DAZ+ items when you have at least $18 of qualifying items mincluding the non-new DAZ+ ones.

I know about the $18 for the other coupon, but I don't always use the coupon just for the sake of using it. I watch my pennies hard. For the Daz+ coupon, they essentially give you $6, does it really matter what I use it for? You pay up front for the membership. The other forum threads pretty much have a common theme for how promotions work.

If you want an official explanation, put in a ticket, because we know as much as you do.

  • mwokee, you've conflated "Daz+" items with "Daz Originals".  Not the same thing, though many Daz+ items are Daz Originals.  Daz+ items are, more or less, permanently discounted relative to their nominal full price.

In effect, Daz+ is two $6 discounts per month.  At most, a quarterly subscriber is paying $4 per coupon--most of us, I think, are paying less.  I bought an annual membership at a discount, so I'm paying about $2 for $6 discounts.  Daz is still paying PAs for those coupon sales, and for internally developed or wholly owned content, Daz still needs to recoup its costs.  So, if you discount a $7 item by $6, you're taking in $1 as a sale, plus the income from the membership ($2.00-4.00?).  For Daz, it's just not a good deal.
