Daz hangs with too many keyframes

When importing 2000 frames of MoCap data, the application still runs pretty well.

At around rough 2500 timeline frames, things take a turn for the worst - with regular crashes and hangs.

 

The thing is... once it's loaded even at 2500 all is pretty smooth. The problem is now and then it seems to 'reload' something, and that is what makes it hang and crash. If it didn't do that thing, it would all perform pretty well. Whatever triggers the 'reloading' doesn't appear to be consistent.

Has anyone had any luck getting the application to perform well at a high number of keyframes?
