My Daz uninstalled itself?

I'm very unclear why the shortcut to my latest Daz is no longer there? I had two versions installed so that I could continue to use daz 1 along with the new one. Daz 1 is still there but the new one can't start? The exe is missing or something? It worked for years, I don't know what happened. Should I reinstall the program?

    What security software do you use? I had Malware Bytes delete DS when I tried doing a product update through Connect (through DS itself) as it thought the file changes might be a ransomware attack. (It also deleted DIM when I tried updating files or, more recently, thumbnails.)

    Hmm, not Malwarebytes. Mine asks me before deleting stuff. I guess I'll try to install it again and if that foesn't work, I'll uninstall then reinstall. Thanks!

    Wouldn't it be simpler just to make another shortcut? Find the .exe in the program folder, right-click options > Send to Desktop.
