  • The program doesn't take up much space. It's your content. You would be better off moving your content to an external HD, and then telling DS where to find it. I know this is possible to do with DIM and Daz Central, but I manually install everything so I don't know the steps.

  • I would like to know how to move my content to another drive and  I  manually  install  most of my stuff as well , . can I keep Daz Studio on C and put My Daz 3D Library on D ?

  • For a manual installation just move the content directory and, in Daz Studio, right-click on Daz Studuo Formats in the Content Library>Add base Directory, then select the folder used (the one that holds the Data and Runtime folders). Do the same with Poser formats, assuming you have Poser-format content. Optionally you can right-click on the now empty folders under those headings to remove them.

  • @andrushuk1 Yes, I do that way because content is taking a lot of space. If you want to keep Smart Content compatibility you can use DAZ Install Manager to install your files as shown here https://youtu.be/akbSsVcbcck

  • Richard , if I understand correctly then I can just leave Studio where it is and move the contents to my D drive ? ( I just want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly :)
