Order Payment "Pending"?

For over 9 years I've paid for DS orders via PayPal and didn't have problem until the process snagged when using Firefox, but thereafter using Chrome it was always easy-peasy. Today I've twice tried to make purchase, using Chrome, but when the process takes me to logging-in to PayPal, which is successful, instead of clicking to make the payment I get a notice stating 'previdew order', but when I click on that I get logged out of both PayPal and DS - I'm taken to the DS register or sign-in page - but then on logging back in the order appears in Orders, but states "pending", while the product is still in my trolley. Anybody else had this problem?

I don't think it's a global problem as I paid for an order via Paypal not too long ago - although perhaps I got lucky.
That sounds like a cookie type of issue maybe. Have you recently installed any browser extensions? Or perhaps had something auto-update recently? Perhaps you can try temporarily disabling any extensions that might mess with cookies, re-login to Daz and try again?
I doubt it's anything to do with cookies. What is different to previous purchases is that once in PayPal instead of just having to click to pay and getting instantly returned to Daz I now get a window come up which states "preview order" which I've never seen before and there's no other option but to click on it, but doing that logs me out of both PP and Daz! I've tried twice. Also, in past years when payments failed due to using Firefox nothing appeared under "Orders", but I now have one failed order from yeserday which states "failed" and today's "pending". I've had no notifications from PayPal and when I logged-in to see if there was any mention of my 'pending' order - or yesterday's 'failed' order - there isn't. It's the "preview order" bit which baffles me.
Daz Studio or the Daz site? I assume the latter. Sometimes PayPal taks exception to a product name because it imagines it is suspect - drugs related, or pornographic - and that can take a few days to resolve. I would take a screenshot of the pending order page and submit a ticket - that way if PayPal does end up refusing the order you will be able to show the price you tried to pay and support may be able to let you have the items at that price even if the relevant offer has ended.
There doesn't seem to be any logic in how PayPal processes the orders either, sometimes I get an SMS with a code I need to put in before the transaction goes forward, other times I don't.
But usually when someone says PayPal didn't work, it's because the name of the product included something dubious, like "Grass", "Princess" etc.
Based on previous posts, it is better to buy Gift Cards with PayPal and use the store credit for buying stuff in the store.
Yes, I think you're right about the product name as it was the "Skin Shading Bundle", but I tried twice more and made the purchase. One the 3rd try I didn't click on "proceed to order preview" as I knew it would frack up, and I got returned to Daz without getting logged-out. On the 4th try I again ignored the "proceed to order preview" and instead selected the option to pay in 3 instalments, which I've never used but I'm pre-approved for, and to my surprise the order went through! So problem solved. Thanks to all who responded.
