Smoothing Genesis figure UVs when baking displacement textures - ok?

So i am baking displacements from HD mesh to a daz figure base mesh.  My base mesh is subdivided to SubD lvl 4 in order to allow displacement map baking to work.

When subdividing in certain software, it gives option to smooth the UV vertices or not.  Should i smooth the UV?  Im intending to use the Displacement Map in Daz Studio and Blender so want to make sure they will line up with the UVs of the base Daz Figure in those softwares when it is subdivided.

I dont see any difference in the UV between smoothed vs not smoothed... attached.

Edit: Okay, i did some further testing and the Base Genesis 9 mesh has exactly the same boundary as the not-smoothed UV, while the smoothed UV deviates slightly from it.  So i guess i should not smooth the UV when subdividing, unless can guarantee the boundaries are kept intact.
