Hi, I remember the viewport had an option to make it undockable and independent with it's own minimize / maximize buttons and the possibility to move it where I want. After the update, I couldn't find this option anymore, is it gone?

Right-click on the viewport tab and select Undock Pane.

Yeah, they removed the functionality as "nobody needed it" and the reason it was put there in the first place went away around DS 4.9...

DS 4.15 still has the old functionality for us with multiple monitors

It was a workaround for an issue (over-zealous docking) that was later fixed. The undockable panes had issues of their own, as they were working against the grain with Qt. Rather than sink resources in a battle to keep the workaround feature working it was removed and the option menu was expanded. There may well be desirable aspects of the old system that have been lost, in which case please make a feature request to add them in.
