cant seem to find any luck. looking for a scifi bracer / wristband communication device like in Fall out.

    I'm not aware of any, but you could solve it by downloading a game mod for a higher res pip-boy, use modder tools to export is as an .obj file and then import it into Daz.

     

    There are a few wrist displays in the Daz store, but they are more of high sci-fi/cyberpunk holographic style. They are either very sleek and bright or it's a holo panel floating over the arm.

    I haven't seen anything like that for a character since Michael 3. I wouldn't be surprised if someone has made a free model and shared it. Google pipboy.obj and you'll likely see something you can work with.

    I can't believe nobody's made something remotely similar... I just assumed there would be like fifty Poser versions of the PIP-Boy.

    It's not even that hard to do... Well, it's definitely going on my list of freebies to make.

    Maybe try one of the Fallout Mod sites... there might be something there.

    I think nobody bothered because for an example I have tons of Fallout 3/NV/4 guns and Skyrim stuff, but majority of the folks needing it probably outright export it into .obj with modding tools from Nexus.

    Sadly I can't upload mine because I'd be sharing Bethesda's geos and textures. It ain't good for nothing but fanarts and I do not enjoy walking over the minefields.

    Have you checked Shinteo at DA?

    I think I have seen a vault suit with a PipBoy somewhere, but don't remember where and by whom.
