Unless I'm missing something, this is yet another G9 character without gens textures. If this is the case, then the lack of a gen texture should be clearly stated on the product page. Another return if so...

The reverse is true: unless the product page clearly states that it includes something, you shouldn't expect it to be included.
I have said this before, but IMO if a PA can't be bothered to create genital maps with their character, they have no business creating characters and should move on to props, poses or something else.
Cherubit's characters have never included gens textures.
Other female genitals are available...
These two include anatomical element textures:

But they are male characters anyways
There are quite a few customers who have zero interest in genital maps, so they definitely have a market. Not catering to a specific need is not a reason not to bother at all.
I have yet to use genital maps although I create primarily sexy images. Not everyone creates actual porn.
I am well aware, I see posts often on the forums when users say they never render a figure nude, but based on what i do see elsewhere i would think at least half the customer base do need genital maps. I honestly see this as an incomplete character, same as if the nipples were left off the texture. Usually it becomes less of an issue with 3rd party addons taking up the slack of the PAs, but G9 is fairly new and this really isn't an option yet.
I don't create actual porn either, but most of my projects involve nudity to various degrees
I do, and only porn LOL

Which is why I never buy characters for their MATs. Only for their morphs.
Although I rarely show gens, when I do, I use alternative ones. They tend to be more versitile.
When I make porn, I don't use the Daz gens, so whether or not PAs include gen textures makes no difference to me (unless they start including mats for Meipe's gens).
Well, for clarity, pretty much none of my figures use Gens and probably none of my future ones will, either.
If I make an exception I'll be sure to indicate as such.
Surely Oso Lurker would have more reasons to lurk if he were complete!
Yes. I could make a scene of a finnish couple's relaxing saturday evening by the lake (summer or winter), people going to sauna and swimming in the nude, nothing pornographic in it and the anatomy would not be drawing attention, unless they were missing.
Felis has sone something to help, using the G9 Torso UV's. https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/598936/alternativ-uv-map-for-g9-female-anatomical-elements

Same. I prefer 3rd party genitals, and not having mats isn't that big of a deal. I typically include them when I do a setup because you never know when something might peek through. Not necessarily for perverted reasons, but for realism reasons...having them there helps gauge whether a shot would be deemed too inappropriate. If she's built like a Barbie, or he's built like a Ken, you may wind up getting an angle that just looks uncanny, leaving the viewer thinking, "Hey...shouldn't there be junk there?" If the junk's already there, you can do a salacious image where the viewer thinks, "God, if the photographer was just 1 inch to the left!!!" The art of the tease.
As much as I prefer having complete characters, I would have to agree with some of the others here that I don't think its something that should be forced on the PAs and that it comes down to their creativity preferences & what they want to include in their content. Now if they were making characters strictly for a site like renderotica, then I would agree with you, but it still comes down to the PA's choice regardless of what I think. I would just give it time, eventually more content of that nature will be available for "gen" 9. I haven't upgraded Daz yet to the more recent version so I'm still working with G8-G8.1.
The trouble with referring to characters without gen textures as "incomplete" is that the gens aren't part of the figure; they're an add-on. A figure is "complete" if it contains textures that cover the base geometry, and I have yet to see a character that doesn't meet those criteria. You are, of course, free to only buy characters that include gen textures, but a PA not including them isn't doing anything wrong.
