I just saw an amazing clothing simulator and want something similar for daz!

I just saw this amazing clothing simulator for Cinema 4D. It would be amazing if Daz could make something similar (NOT DFORCE), for Daz Studio. I really love working with Daz, it's so easy and neat to use. However the clothing simulator is horrible. I had to go back to "Dynamic clothing" From optitex to use in animations.

I have this dream that Daz will get both soft body and a better clothing sim for their next major update!

Here's the link for those who are curious:

C4D's cloth simulation tools aren't magic; there are advantages and disadvantages, and the same is true of the cloth tools in other 3D programs. Even after they updated the cloth simulation engine in the last version, it's still not ideally suited for clothing and requires a fair bit of fiddling. If there's a cloth system to envy in a 3D app (besides Marvelous Designer), it's Houdini's Vellum.

    +1

If Houdini has an advantage over Marvelous Designer, it's that it is a modeling app, not meant to completely mimic the metaphors to a tailor working with cloth, and thus you can do things quite precisely, like pinning a cloth to a precise vertex.

And there's also that Houdini can simulate damned near anything.

Maxon should have updated the cloth system a LONG time ago.
