geoshells - how to batch switch on/off [solved]

i could have sworn that a while ago, someone uploaded a script making the manual switching on/off of dials (surfaces or face groups) from geoshells easier, instead of having to do it for each and every switch one one by one, something like a batch. and i probably downoaded it, if such a script exists. but i couldn't find it anywhere, no clue. weird, cuz i'm pretty sure i used it...

alternatively it could also have been just a little tutorial or explanation how to do it easily, it might have involved the edit mode (parameters panel).. i kinda remember shreds form the whole situation but nothing precise. i hate my random memory.

halp?

    You can do it in the Parameters plane by selecting edit mode, as you recalled.

    First select all parameters (Ctrl-A) or just the ones you want to change.

    Then Right Click

    Set->Value(s)

    Set current value to false, and it will do as you required.

    aaah thank you, it really rings a bell now, so it was probably just a tuto/explanatory post rather than a script.

    i had totally forgotten about the "select all" part, so when i switched to edit mode a few hours ago and still had all the boxes to check, i was like "wth what am i doing now, how is this supposed to be faster than in the non-edit mode??", lol. CTRL-A and also "set value" was the trick! many thanks, this was so helpful! yessmiley
