Resetting draw settings

I have messed around with the draw settings and now DS crashes everytime I try to save a 7k render, how do I reset all the draw settings to default value?

Edit: I think I found the culprit already. Instead of Photoreal mode I used an other setting. Still, it would be helpful to know if there is an option to reset all draw settings, because I messed around with more settings that did not improve things.

  • Draw Settings should not affect rendering and saving - unless it is that the new settings are drawing too much memory, and so when the draw refreshes after rendering the system is over-taxed. Have you tried seting the Viewport to Texture Shaded before rendering? You can also just hold down alt (opt for a Mac) and click each slider to reset it, though the pane does lack the defaults button found in Render Settings.

Richard, a relevant question: I ever used 'Draw Settings pane - hamburger menu - Preferences - Restore Draw Setting Defaults',  however, it did nothing to Draw Settings but reset my Render Settings instead. What's it for?

  • Not sure - I hadn't even noticed it buried there.
