Brand new to DS. Can I install multiple items at once or only 1 at a time?

Hello. I have been making several purchases over time, from the Daz store plus I have tons that I've purchased over the years. I'm a previous Poser user but I've been out of the 3D world for nearly 10 years now due to vision issues. I had surgeries in both eyes now (YAY!) And plan to get back into 3D. I've NEVER used Daz Studio ever so I need to learn it all (except content creation as I don't plan on being a vendor)
Installing one by one is going to take forever if I have to install it that way. Installing multiple items at once would be great. But is it possible? And if so, how?
Plus dforce is new to me. I used to think it was a brand of clothing .lol
I opened DS just to have a look. I opended a figure and added clothes to it. Then added a pose for the figure. The clothes didn't move with the figure and it's pose. Is there something I need to do each time to get the clothes and props, etc to move with my figure?
Thank you
Paula

Download Daz Install Manager (DIM). This will let you install all your content, wherever you want it, in a very streamlined fashion. You can use Daz Connect (downloading content inside DS) or Daz Central, which is essentially DIM for newbies, but DIM really is the recommended way to install content unless you choose to install manually.
Yep, no doubt Install Manager is the only reliable tool for installing products from daz3d.com ~ For 3rd-parties product, you may use Content Wizard to install them if you wanna use them from Smart Content~
dForce is a dynamics engine that can simulate clothing and hairs but it's not new... Just make sure that you choose a garment with dForce, i.e. the product name is 'dForce......'.
Select the figure and load the garments on it, one by one... Then give her a pose if you want~
Go to Simulation Settings pane on the left panel, click Simulation. It will simulate all the garments with dForce in the scene.
If you wanna just simulate a single garment, select the figure and the garment, go to that 'hamburger' menu, click Simulate Selected...
Click 'Clear' button under 'Simulation' button to clear the dForce result of all the garments. If you just wanna clear a single garment's result, select it and go for the menu item...
Above is just a simple guideline~ You may go to DAZ channel on youtube to learn the basics first~~
